For Colleagues

The American Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Nurses states that nurses have an obligation to both protect patient safety when a colleague may be impaired due to a substance use or mental health disorder, but also to assure that the colleagues is offered assistance. The American Nurses Association has very clear position that supports assistance for nurses as affirmed by the ANA House of Delegates.
